History of the Band
(Photos Roger Lyobard)

The origin of the Band is towards the end 2002.

At that time Gilles Rézard, a well known musician, organizes near Lyon-France, a bluegrass workshop intended to make work together musicians of different origin and influences.

This workshop leads us to take part in June 2004 to "La Grange Rouge", a french country music festiavl.

With the passing time, bonds are tied, affinities are created between 4 of the members of this workshop.

At the end of 2004, Fabien Costille, banjo, Pascal Rabilloud, bass, Jean-Marc Salas, acoustic guitar and Thierry Aïli, acoustic guitar and singing, leave the workshop to create their own band.

They play some standards of country music, blues, western swing, bluegrass while specially inspired by the famous Doc Watson.

Quickly, Fabrice Belfiore joined the band with his drums.

The band Tennessee Stud is created in November 2005.

With this rhythmic contribution, the repertoire widens and is packed, the objective being always to take pleasure and to give pleasure with the public.

Then, Sandrine Varnet joins the band at the beginning of January 2007, for a first public appearance in Montluel on February 3rd, 2007.

Philippe Jeoffroy joins the band with his drums at the end of may 2008.
